چکیده

Abstract DNA nanostructures constructed under the guidance of nanotechnology have developed rapidly for last two decades, standing at forefront in biomedical field. Among them, tetrahedron nanostructure (DTN) has emerged as one most representative nanostructures. DTN was easily formed by one-step annealing four single-stranded DNA. Due to its unique advantages such simple and stable structural composition, high synthesis efficiency, uniform nanometer size, programmability, good biocompatibility, been widely used biological detection, imaging, drug delivery, other fields, shows a great potential. Especially detection cancer-related biomarkers delivery anticancer drugs, nano-platforms based on achieved success. In this review, we focus applications cancer diagnosis therapy, well challenges prospects.

Applications of nanofibers in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer

When a cell’s DNA is damaged, the injured cells react by changing from normal to malignant cells, rather than dying or repairing the damage. Metastatic cancer is the deadliest kind of cancer since it refers to cancer that has spread to other parts of the patient’s body. The need for cancer detection techniques that are rapid, non-invasive, and accurate is growing. Cancer diagnosis, monitoring, ...

DNA Intercalators and Using Them as Anticancer Drugs

Many anticancer drugs in clinical use interact with DNA through intercalation, which is process that starts with the transfer of the intercalating molecule from an aqueous environment to the hydrophobic space between two adjacent DNA base pairs. In general, intercalatig agents are two types: monofunctional and bifunctional. Monofunctional intercalators contain one intercalating unit and Bifunct...

DNA Tetrahedron Delivery Enhances Doxorubicin-Induced Apoptosis of HT-29 Colon Cancer Cells

As a nano-sized drug carrier with the advantage of modifiability and proper biocompatibility, DNA tetrahedron (DNA tetra) delivery is hopeful to enhance the inhibitory efficiency of nontargeted anticancer drugs. In this investigation, doxorubicin (Dox) was assembled to a folic acid-modified DNA tetra via click chemistry to prepare a targeted antitumor agent. Cellular uptake efficiency was measu...
